چکیده
In the frame of the scalar theory λφ 4 , we explore the occurrence of thermal renormalons, i. e. temperature dependent singularities in the Borel plane. Using Thermofield Dynamics, we found in fact a series of singularities of this kind, which are located to the right of the well known zero temperature pole, being therefore of a subleading character in the ambiguity of the Borel sum.

The status of lattice calculations in Quantum Field Theory is reviewed. A major part is devoted to recent progress in formulating exact chiral symmetry on the lattice. Another topic which has received a lot of attention is the influence of dynamical quark effects. Attempts to quantify these effects for the light hadron spectrum and flavour singlet amplitudes are discussed, as well as other expe...

Scalar QED is used to study approximations in thermal field theory beyond the Hard Thermal Loop resummation scheme. For this purpose the photon self energy is calculated for external momenta of the order eT using Hard Thermal Loop resummed Green functions.

Global canonical transformations to free chiral fields are constructed for DG models minimally coupled to scalar fields. The boundary terms for such canonical transformations are shown to vanish in asymptotically static coordinates if there is no scalar field.

A new approach to perturbation theory for a Dirac particle in a central field * Abstract. The explicit semiclassical treatment of logarithmic perturbation theory for the bound-state problem within the framework of the Dirac equation is developed. Avoiding disadvantages of the standard approach in the description of exited states, new handy recursion formulae with the same simple form both for g...

We study the motion of a spin 1 2 particle in a scalar as well as a magnetic field within the framework of supersymmetric quantum mechanics(SUSYQM). We also introduce the concept of shape invariant scalar and magnetic fields and it is shown that the problem admits exact analytical solutions when such fields are considered.
